I absolutely loved driving into Hammond to document the Carroll family on their typical Sunday morning! Lauren is one of the sweetest moms, and I quickly fell in love with her and little Emma! I felt like I've known them forever while we talked about baking and french pressing coffee, eating cake for breakfast, and playing a lot of Doc McStuffins.
I loved that her welcome mat even alluded to the day we were going to have!
We started in her loft which is one of Emma's favorite rooms – she also refused to take photos until she had chocolate cake for breakfast (Smart girl!)
Lauren made her house smell super festive with adding some fruit and herbs to a pot that use to be her Grandmother's. I love these simple little additions to photo sessions that make the day more personal.
Lauren and Emma then spent a little more time cuddling and talking before getting ready for the day.
One of Emma's favorite things is helping her mom bake. She would constantly say, "I do this by myself!"
These flour covered foot prints in the kitchen are my favorite from the day!
While the pies baked Emma was ready to go outside until it was time for pies and coffees!
I had SO much fun documenting Lauren and Little Emma. Mama you are raising quite the little hostess and I cannot wait to see her personality grow more with age!
